For those not using GPS:

From Hawick:

At the eastern end of Hawick High Street filter LEFT, direction ‘B6399 Newcastleton’ through a narrow gap in the buildings. After you leave the town and have taken a sharp right turn over a stone bridge, you continue for about 2 miles until on your LEFT you come to a bright pink cottage built right next to the road. Immediately next to this cottage (which is the former lodge to Colislinn) take a wooden bridge, also on your LEFT. This is the beginning of the Colislinn drive. If you miss the entrance and see pigs in the fields you have gone too far!

If you are coming from Newcastleton on the B6399 and are travelling North towards Hawick: once you pass the war memorial at Stobs on your left, drive half a mile (past pigs in the fields) until you see the once pink cottage right next to the road on your right. The bridge is just before it on your right
