Welcome To Colislinn House

March 2019

Situated in 8 acres of its own grounds in the heart of the Scottish Borders, Colislinn is the perfect location for a family or group holiday. The house dates from 1896 and was built by Scottish Architect James Pearson Alison in a Scottish version of the Arts and Crafts style, also known as mock-Baronial.

Colislinn House is available to rent all year round and sleeps 12 comfortably.

This is the ideal place to relax, enjoy the countryside, walk out of the door up onto the hills behind the house and wander for miles without seeing anyone. Further afield there are lots of interesting things to see and do.

The rent is based on self-catering, but if you need more help we may be able to arrange for someone to cook for you. We’re here to help with anything really.

“This was the best vacation we ever had taken. Every day we went fishing and played in the grounds. Every night we would take a walk to town and come back and have a fire in the fire pit. One day we got adventurous and hiked up the local hills.”
